The CPA Fluid Dynamics consultation service uses complex computational fluid dynamics modeling to simulate the flow behaviour of operational meter stations. This gives designers, engineers and end users the opportunity to carry out a simulated test of the meter station or preposed piping design. This also allows potential problems to be caught well before piping layouts are finalized and construction begins, resulting in significant savings in both operating and capital costs.

CPA Fluid Dynamics can also be used to diagnose problems with existing meter stations. As an example, if the flow meters are reporting unexplained errors, the station can be modeled to determine any problematic flow paths, flow disturbances or possible blockages are present.
