NMi B.V. is a 100 % subsidiary of Holland Metrology N.V., which on its turn is owned by the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research TNO. By this status NMi combines the best of both worlds: the international respect and position of a large and solid institute established by Dutch Government with the flexibility and customer orientation of a private company. Guardian of the metrological infrastructure in the Netherlands Subsidiary NMi van Swinden Laboratory B.V. is the Dutch national standards laboratory. It keeps and maintains the present Dutch measurement standards and develops new measurement standards and reference materials. Statoil - K-Lab 2 phase flow test facility, Norway
K-lab, Statoil's measurement and technology laboratory at Kårstø, has one of the world's most sophisticated test facilities for this type of wet gas equipment. As the closest neighbour to the gas processing plant at Kårstø, K-lab has unlimited access to gas for testing, direct from the various fields on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS). Wet gas meters, separators and scrubbers are essential equipment for testing the gas flow before it is exported. It is now possible to conduct full-scale onshore tests under conditions corresponding to normal seabed operation. Field development requires safe and environment-friendly equipment. Through testing in the wet gas facility, any errors and omissions can be discovered before the equipment is made fully operational in a subsea system. This is an advantage for the environment, safety and economy.
Pigsar German Flow Testing facility Officially recognized test facility national Standard Since 1999, Ruhrgas and PTB, the Federal Institute of Physics and Metrology, have together held pigsar as the National Standard of the Federal Republic of Germany for High-Pressure Natural Gas, which is based on the national SI base unit 'metre'. The cubic metre of natural gas measured here is the state-defined basic measure and for high-pressure natural gas.

Trans Canada Calibrations TransCanada Testing Lab Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Canada's high pressure testing reference and lab. TransCanada Calibrations Ltd. (TCC) is a meter repair, calibration and measurement services company that is located centrally along TransCanada Pipelines' (TransCanada) mainline at Station 41, Manitoba. TCC provides turbine and ultrasonic meter repair and refurbishing, high-pressure natural gas flow calibration, and pressure and temperature device calibration service to a broad international customer base. TCC also offers measurement support for diagnosis and resolution of measurement system imbalances, as well as measurement capability determination with uncertainty modeling for integrated measurement systems.
Colorado Engineering and Experiment Station Inc. Colorado Engineering and Experiment Station Inc. CEESI began operation in 1951 as the Engineering Experiment Station - a program of the College of Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder for research, development, and testing of small rockets for the Naval Ordinance Test Station at China Lake, California. In the 50s, when turbine-type meters came into use by the military, the station became the sole location for testing these meters. Eventually, the university's interest waned, and in 1966, with the assistance of Professor Tom Arnberg of the Mechanical Engineering Department, the non-profit organization separated from the university and moved to the present site - a surplus Atlas missile site near Nunn, Colorado. The name was changed to Colorado Engineering Experiment Station, Inc. The corporation retained its non-profit status until 1986 when Walt Seidl and Steve Caldwell purchased the facility. It has operated as an independent commercial calibration facility since then.
